ஜல்லிக்கட்டுப் போட்டியில் உயிரிழந்த மாடுபிடி வீரர் நவீன் குமாரின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் ₹3 லட்சம் நிவாரணம் வழங்க உத்தரவு

மதுரை மாவட்டம் அவனியாபுரத்தில் நடைபெற்ற ஜல்லிக்கட்டு நிகழ்வின் போது உயிரிழந்த காளைச் சண்டை வீரரின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு முதலமைச்சர் மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் இரங்கல் தெரிவித்து நிதியுதவி அறிவித்துள்ளார்.

பொங்கல் பண்டிகையையொட்டி மதுரை மாவட்டம் அவனியாபுரத்தில் நேற்று ஜல்லிக்கட்டு போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. நேற்றைய போட்டியின் போது, மதுரை விளாங்குடி பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த நவீன் குமார் என்ற காளைச் சண்டை வீரரை மாடு துரத்திச் சென்றதில் அவர் படுகாயமடைந்தார். அதன் பிறகு, மதுரை அரசு ராஜாஜி மருத்துவமனைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லப்பட்ட அவர், அங்கு பரிதாபமாக உயிரிழந்தார்.

இதைத் தொடர்ந்து, பல காளைச் சண்டை வீரர்களும், சமூக ஆர்வலர்களும் உயிரிழந்த காளைச் சண்டை வீரரின் குடும்பத்திற்கு நிதி உதவி வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று கோரிக்கை விடுத்திருந்தனர். இயக்குநர் அமீர் அவர்களும் அதை வலியுறுத்தி ஒரு பதிவு செய்திருந்தார்.

நேற்றைய அவனியாபுரம் மற்றும் இன்றைய பாலமேடு ஜல்லிக்கட்டு வெற்றியாளர்களும் இந்தக் கோரிக்கையை விடுத்தனர்.

இந்நிலையில், அவனியாபுரம் ஜல்லிக்கட்டு நிகழ்வில் உயிரிழந்த மாடுபிடி வீரரின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு முதலமைச்சர் மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் இரங்கல் தெரிவித்து நிதியுதவி அறிவித்துள்ளார்.

இது தொடர்பாக தமிழக அரசு வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்திக்குறிப்பில், “மதுரை மாவட்டம், அவனியாபுரத்தில் நேற்று (14.01.2025) நடைபெற்ற ஜல்லிக்கட்டு நிகழ்வின் போது, மாடு தாக்கியதில் மதுரை மாவட்டம், மதுரை வடக்கு வட்டம், விளாங்குடியைச் சேர்ந்த திரு. நவீன் குமார் என்ற மாடு மேய்ப்பவர் காயமடைந்து, உடனடி சிகிச்சைக்காக மருத்துவமனைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லும் வழியில் உயிரிழந்தார் என்ற துயரச் செய்தியைக் கேட்டு நான் மிகவும் வருத்தமும் வேதனையும் அடைந்தேன்.

இறந்தவரின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும், அவரது உறவினர்கள் மற்றும் நண்பர்களுக்கும் எனது ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலையும், இரங்கலையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். மேலும், முதல்வரின் பொது நிவாரண நிதியிலிருந்து இறந்தவரின் குடும்பத்திற்கு மூன்று லட்சம் ரூபாய் வழங்கவும் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளேன்” என்று முதல்வர் கூறினார்.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has expressed his condolences and announced financial assistance to the family of the bullfighter who died during the Jallikattu event held in Avaniyapuram, Madurai district.

A Jallikattu competition was held in Avaniyapuram, Madurai district yesterday on the occasion of the Pongal festival. During yesterday’s competition, a bullfighter named Naveen Kumar from Vilangudi area of Madurai was seriously injured when a cow chased him. After that, he was taken to the Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital, where he died tragically.

Following this, many bullfighters and social activists had demanded financial assistance to the family of the deceased bullfighter. Director Ameer had also made a post emphasizing it.

The winners of yesterday’s Avaniyapuram and today’s Palamedu Jallikattu also made this request.

In this context, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has expressed his condolences to the family of the cowherd who died in the Avaniyapuram Jallikattu event and announced financial assistance.

In a press release issued by the Tamil Nadu government in this regard, “I am deeply saddened and pained to hear the sad news that Mr. Naveen Kumar, a cowherd from Vilangudi, Madurai North Circle, Madurai District, was injured in a cow attack during the Jallikattu event held in Avaniyapuram, Madurai District yesterday (14.01.2025) and died on the way to the hospital for immediate treatment.

I express my deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of the deceased, his relatives and friends. I have also ordered a compensation of three lakh rupees to the family of the deceased from the Chief Minister’s General Relief Fund,” the Chief Minister said.
