திருப்பதி கூட்ட நெரிசலில் சிக்கி பலியானவரின் குடும்பங்களுக்கு தலா ரூ.25 லட்சம் இழப்பீடு வழங்கப்படும் என்று ஆந்திர அரசு

உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற திருப்பதி ஏழுமலையான் கோயிலில் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி சர்வதர்ஷன் டோக்கன்களை விற்கும் கவுண்டர்களில் நேற்று இரவு ஏற்பட்ட கூட்ட நெரிசலில் தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு பெண் உட்பட 6 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர். மேலும் 40க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் படுகாயமடைந்தனர். அவர்கள் திருப்பதியில் உள்ள ரூயா மற்றும் சிம்ஸ் மருத்துவமனைகளில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகின்றனர்.

இந்த சூழ்நிலையில், இறந்தவர்களின் குடும்பங்களுக்கு தலா ரூ.25 லட்சம் இழப்பீடு வழங்கப்படும் என்று ஆந்திர அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது. இன்று காலை ரூயா மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வரும் காயமடைந்தவர்களைச் சந்தித்த பிறகு, மாநில வருவாய் அமைச்சர் அனகானி சத்ய பிரசாத் இதை அறிவித்தார்.

இந்த சம்பவம் குறித்து ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலைத் தெரிவித்த அமைச்சர் அனகானி சத்ய பிரசாத், கூட்ட நெரிசலில் உயிரிழந்தவர்களைக் கண்டு வேதனையடைந்ததாகவும், துயரமடைந்த குடும்பத்தினருக்கு ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலைத் தெரிவித்ததாகவும் கூறினார். ஆந்திர உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அனிதா மற்றும் மாநில அறநிலையத்துறை அமைச்சர் அனம் ராம நாராயண ரெட்டி ஆகியோரும் ரூயா மருத்துவமனைக்குச் சென்று பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் அவர்களது குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் இரங்கல் தெரிவித்தனர்.

முதல்வர் சந்திரபாபு நாயுடு விரைவில் மருத்துவமனைக்குச் சென்று காயமடைந்தவர்களைச் சந்திப்பார் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. ரூயா மருத்துவமனையைத் தவிர, காயமடைந்த பலர் SVIMS மருத்துவமனையிலும் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகின்றனர். திருப்பதியில் நடந்த துயர சம்பவத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து, முதலமைச்சர் சந்திரபாபு நாயுடு மற்றும் பல அமைச்சர்கள் நிவாரணப் பணிகளில் கவனம் செலுத்துவதற்காக தங்கள் திட்டமிடப்பட்ட நிகழ்வுகளை ஒத்திவைத்ததாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.

நேற்று இரவு, நிலைமையை மறுஆய்வு செய்வதற்காக முதலமைச்சர் சந்திரபாபு நாயுடு, டிஜிபி, திருப்பதி மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர், திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானத் தலைவர் மற்றும் திருப்பதி மாவட்ட காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர் ஆகியோருடன் தொலைபேசியில் உயர்மட்டக் கூட்டத்தை நடத்தினார். பக்தர்கள் கூட்டம் அதிகமாக இருக்கும் என்று தெரிந்திருந்தும் ஏன் போதுமான நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்படவில்லை என்று கேட்டு அவர் அதிருப்தி தெரிவித்தார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Six people, including a woman from Tamil Nadu, died in a stampede at the counters selling Vaikuntha Ekadashi Sarvadarshan tokens at the world-famous Tirupati Ezhumalaiyan temple last night. More than 40 others were seriously injured. They are undergoing treatment at Ruya and SIMS hospitals in Tirupati.

In this situation, the Andhra Pradesh government has announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of the deceased. This was announced by state Revenue Minister Anakani Satya Prasad after meeting the injured who are undergoing treatment at Ruya Hospital this morning.

Expressing deep grief over the incident, Minister Anakani Satya Prasad said that he was pained to see the victims of the stampede and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Anitha and State Charities Minister Anam Rama Narayana Reddy also visited Ruya Hospital and expressed their condolences to the victims and their families.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is expected to visit the hospital soon and meet the injured. Apart from Ruia Hospital, many injured are also undergoing treatment at SVIMS Hospital. Following the tragic incident in Tirupati, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and several ministers are said to have postponed their scheduled events to focus on relief work.

Last night, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held a high-level meeting over the phone with the DGP, Tirupati District Collector, Tirupati Devasthanam President and Tirupati District Superintendent of Police to review the situation. It is noteworthy that he expressed dissatisfaction, asking why adequate measures were not taken despite knowing that the crowd of devotees would be large.
