Tiruvannamalai Deepam: ‘அண்ணாமலையார் திருவண்ணாமலையில் மகாதீபம் ஏற்றப்பட்டது.. பரவசத்தில் பக்தர்கள்

Tiruvannamalai Deepam : திருவண்ணாமலை மகா தீபம் 2024: கார்த்திகை தீபத் திருவிழாவையொட்டி, திருவண்ணாமலையில் உள்ள 2,668 அடி மலை உச்சியில் இன்று மாலை 6 மணிக்கு மகா தீபம் ஏற்றப்பட்டது. அண்ணாமலையார் ஜோதி வடிவில் காட்சி தருகிறார். முன்னதாக அண்ணாமலையார் மலை அடிவாரத்தில் ஆனந்த தாண்டவம் நடத்தி பக்தர்களுக்கு காட்சியளித்தார். பின்னர் கீழே தீபம் ஏற்றப்பட்டது.

கார்த்திகை தீப திருவிழா

கார்த்திகை மாதம் என்றாலே அனைவருக்கும் முதலில் நினைவுக்கு வருவது கார்த்திகை தீபத் திருவிழா தான். தமிழ்நாட்டின் ஐந்து புனித தலங்களில் ஒன்றான திருவண்ணாமலையில் கார்த்திகை தீபத் திருவிழா வெகு விமரிசையாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

முன்னதாக இன்று காலை பரணி தீபம் ஏற்றப்பட்டது. மகா தீபத்தை தரிசனம் செய்ய லட்சக்கணக்கான பக்தர்கள் குவிந்துள்ளதால் திருவண்ணாமலையில் விழாக்கோலம் பூண்டுள்ளது.

பாதுகாப்பு பணியில் போலீசார்

மகாதீபம் காண வரும் கூட்ட நெரிசலில் குழந்தைகள் தொலைந்து போனால், அவர்களின் பெற்றோரை உடனடியாக அடையாளம் காணும் வகையில், குழந்தைகளின் மணிக்கட்டில் பெற்றோரின் தொலைபேசி எண்கள், போலீஸ் ஹெல்ப்லைன் எண்கள் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளன. மகாதீபம் காண வரும் குழந்தைகளின் மணிக்கட்டில் அடையாள அட்டை அணிவிக்கப்படுகிறது. குழந்தைகளை எப்படி பாதுகாப்பாக வைக்க வேண்டும் என பெற்றோர்களுக்கு போலீசார் அறிவுறுத்தி வருகின்றனர். 13,000 போலீசார் பாதுகாப்பு பணியில் ஈடுபடுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

புராண பின்னணி என்ன?

புராண காலத்தில் திருமாலுக்கும் பிரம்மாவுக்கும் யார் பெரியவர் என்று போட்டி இருந்தது. இதைத் தொடர்ந்து சிவபெருமான் அக்னி ரூபம் எடுத்தார். தலையையும் பாதத்தையும் முதலில் கண்டவர் பெரியவர் என்று சிவபெருமான் அவர்கள் முன் அறிவித்தார்.

உடனே திருமால் பன்றியின் உருவம் எடுத்து கால் தடங்களைத் தேடப் புறப்பட்டார். பிரம்மா தலையைத் தேடப் புறப்பட்டார். ஆனால் இருவராலும் கால்களைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியவில்லை. இந்த தத்துவத்தை விளக்கும் வகையில் திருவண்ணாமலையில் ஆண்டுதோறும் திருக்கார்த்திகை தீபம் கொண்டாடப்படுவதாக நம்பப்படுகிறது.

The Karthigai Deepath festival of the Arunachaleswarar temple in Tiruvannamalai began on the 4th with the hoisting of the flag. Every morning, a procession of Vinayagar and Chandrasekhara was held, and at night, a procession of Panchamurthiga was held.

The peak festival of the festival, the Maha Deepath festival, was held today. On this occasion, the Bharani Deepam was lit in the temple at 4 am. First, the single Deepam lit in a single circle was lit in the shrine to show that there is only one Supreme Being, and by lighting other Deepams from it, there is one and many. A large number of devotees participated in this and had a glimpse of the Deepa.

This evening, the Maha Deepam lighting ceremony began on the 2,668-foot-high mountain peak behind the temple. The deepa kopara used for the Maha Deepam had already been worshipped and taken to the hill by the devotees. Along with this, 4,500 liters of ghee and 1500 meters of kaada cloth used for lighting the Maha Deepam were also taken to the hill. Ghee was poured into the kaada cloth, twisted and placed in the deepa kopara and the Maha Deepam was ready.

Aside from this, in the Deepa Darshan Mandapam in front of the golden flag tree of the temple, Lord Vinayagar, Murugan, Annamalaiyar, Parasakthi Amman and Chandikeswarar (the ursavars) appeared. At 6 pm, Annamalaiyar appeared as Arthanariswarar.

After that, the flame of the deepa was lit in the akandam in front of the golden flag tree, and the Maha Deepam was lit on the top of the hill. Subsequently, devotees light lamps throughout the city of Tiruvannamalai, including the nine towers in the temple. Devotees can have darshan of the Mahadeepam, also known as Moksha Deepam, for 11 days.

Lakhs of devotees thronged the temple to see the Mahadeepam. When the Mahadeepam was lit on the top of the hill, devotees chanted Shiva mantras and had darshan.

Usually, 2,000 people are allowed to climb the hill to have darshan of the Mahadeepam, which is lit on the top of the hill. However, this year, due to the landslide on the hill due to heavy rains and the loss of life, devotees were not allowed to climb the hill.
