சென்னை: செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டம், மாமல்லபுரம் அருகே ஓஎம்ஆர் சாலையில், பண்டித மேடு பகுதியில், மாடு மேய்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்த போது, கார் மோதியதில், கவுரி, ஆனந்தாயி, விஜயா, லோகம்மாள், யசோதா ஆகிய 5 பெண்கள் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே உயிரிழந்தனர். விபத்து குறித்து மாமல்லபுரம் போலீசார் விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

இறந்தவர்களின் உடல்களை மீட்டு ஆம்புலன்ஸ் மூலம் பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்காக அரசு மருத்துவமனைக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். கார் மோதி 5 பெண்கள் உயிரிழந்த சம்பவம் அப்பகுதியில் பெரும் சோகத்தையும், பரபரப்பையும் ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

5 women killed: Shocking car accident near Mamallapuram ..

Chennai: 5 women, Gowri, Anandhai, Vijaya, Lokammal and Yashoda, died on the spot when a car hit them while they were grazing cows on OMR Road near Mamallapuram in Chengalpattu district. Mamallapuram police are investigating the accident.

The bodies of the deceased were recovered and sent to the government hospital for post-mortem by ambulance. The incident of 5 women being hit by a car has caused great sadness and excitement in the area.
